Schools Out for Summer

It’s hard to believe that another school year has come and gone for our kids. It really doesn’t seem that long ago, that the kids were getting excited about entering 2nd and 5th grades.

For the past 11 weeks, our kids have been at home because of COVID-19. As I type that, I again can’t believe it has been 11 weeks since many lives have changed from the normal day-to-day routine. I know for some of you, it’s been even longer. Overall, I feel that our kids adjusted well to completing their school work online. Thank goodness for technology though, that has allowed the kids to Zoom and FaceTime with their friends and family.

Today marks the official first day of summer vacation in our house. This summer is going to look a little different when compared to those in the past, but we know we are going to have a lot of fun. If you’re looking for some ways to keep your kids entertained this summer, check out the list!
