Easter Baskets for Kids
Easter will be here before we know it and if you’re like me, I’m still putting together my kids’ baskets. If you need a few ideas, I’ve got you covered. Scroll for ideas for everything you need to fill the basket, all in time for Easter.
Baskets
I’ve used traditional baskets and decorated paint cans. Whatever container you choose, will work just fine. Take a look at a few of my favorites.
Now that you have picked out your basket, the fun begins with the contents of the container. I suggest selecting a variety of items. Whether big or small, colorful baskets are a joy for every kid.
Something to Read
Adding a book or two to the basket is one of my favorite gifts! New books get kids excited to read. if you have older kids, select a favorite chapter book or even a gift card to a bookstore. They will enjoy picking out the books themselves. For youngsters, I’ve included a few timeless spring favorites!
It’s Not Easy Being Bunny 2. Pete the Cat: Big Easter Adventure 3. The Tale of Peter Rabbit 4. Fancy Nancy and the Missing Easter Bunny 5. Happy Easter Mouse!
Something to Wear
Spring is a great time to get your kids a few items for warmer weather. In the desert, this means it’s swim season. Swimsuits are a perfect addition to any basket. Old Navy has the cutest suits! You can’t go wrong with adding Haviana Flip Flops to the basket either.
Something to Eat
Every kid will be thrilled with a sweet treat in their basket. Pick up your child’s favorite candy or better yet baked good and add it to the basket for a final touch.
Have fun getting your Easter baskets together!
