Holiday Gifting
Gifting season has arrived, so to make your shopping season a bit easier, I am highlighting the top gifts that I recommend for those on your list. Gifts on my radar are experiences and practical items paired with something a little fun. Check out the list and happy shopping!
For the Adventurer
You can’t go wrong with gifting an experience. This could be money for a National Park Annual Pass or a state park pass. This will encourage one to get out and explore all while getting the most use out of the pass. Pair the money with a copy of Amber Share’s book, Subpar Parks: America's Most Extraordinary National Parks and Their Least Impressed Visitors.
Gift a Rumpl blanket for all of those outdoor adventures. These nanoloft puffy blankets keep one warm while also condensing to fit in a very small bag. Blankets are available in two sizes, single and double. It’s a win-win and the designs are so great!
Help the recipient keep track of the national parks they have visited by giving them a National Parks of the USA Checklist Bandana with all of the parks. This makes for a great stocking stuffer, too!
For the Cook
Pick up a gift certificate to a local charcuterie board business, like Simply Boxed AZ. The recipient can then use that gift certificate the next time they are entertaining.
I am a big fan of What’s Gabby Cooking and her new cookbook is great. Fun fact she lived in Tucson for awhile!
This vegetable chopper is a useful kitchen tool that will save time in the kitchen.
For the Gardener
Those that are on your list that enjoy getting their hands dirty while working in their garden will love these items that are great paired together. The Garden Tea Towel showcases gardening tools and the plant markers come with a humorous saying.
Purchase an item or two for the garden. Head on over to your local nursery with a and purchase a plant or gift certificate.
Passes to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix (or gardens near you) makes for a fun outing.
For the Kids
I am a huge fan of the Walker Family Good products. This family-owned company has created bags that are just what you need for traveling. They are great for kids (and you too). Each person can have a different color bag and accessories. The duffel bags are my top choice, followed by the sling bag and the toiletry bag. I’ve been using their bags for years and have found that they are very durable!.
Gift a book or two to encourage reading. Pair it with a bookmark. When choosing a book think about selecting one that is about a place they will soon explore.
Tickets to a concert, sporting event or play are all great gifts. These will allow the kids to truly experience the gift and make many memories!
For the Planner
Help keep the recipient organized in 2023 with the No Limits Weekly Planner. I have used it throughout 2022 and have found it so useful. The creators of this planner thought of every detail!
Capture photos to display in your home with the Instax camera. The mini photos can be put in an album or hung on a string.
This Able bag is one of my favorites and the planner in your life will love it too! This bag has pockets and enough space to carry all that they need when they are on the go, whether in town or out for an adventure!
A few other items to keep on your radar for gifts…
The Hatch Alarm clock. A must for one starting their day on the right foot.
Pick up a gift card from Arizona Lighting or Westwood Furniture to help someone on your list make an upgrade to their house decor.
The Desierto hoodie is a sweatshirt for many people on your list!
I encourage you to support small businesses as much as you can this holiday season. I am forever grateful for your support, so use THANKYOU10 to save 10% off your order from The Shop. New items are added on a regular basis to the shop. We’ve got a little something for everyone on your list.
Last but not least, all sales from my shop from now until 11/28/22 will help make a difference in the Yuma community. 10% of proceeds from my shop will be donated to the Yuma Community Food Bank on November 28th for Giving Tuesday.
