Save the Date - September

It may be the first day of the month, but how many times have you listened to “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire? I happen to listen to this song all year long, but seem to enjoy it even more as we celebrate the beginning of fall.

As we officially say goodbye to summer, know that there is a lot of fun to be had this month. Keep reading to see what’s happening in the desert throughout September.

What to do This Month

9/8: The Sonoran Sippin’ event will take place at the Desert Botanical Gardens from 6-9 pm. Live music, food vendors and refreshing welcome drinks are included with the event. Purchase tickets in advance for the time slot of your choice. Tickets start at $16.95.

9/13 : The BBQ & Brews event will be held at the Hills Gastro Pub. This pairing class is scheduled from 6 - 7:30 pm. Tickets are $45 per participant and are recommended to purchase in advance.

9/15 - 9/17: Treat yourself to a musical by getting tickets to The Book of Mormon. The performance will take place at Centennial Hall in The University of Arizona in Tucson.

9/17: Cheer on the Arizona Cardinals for their season home opener against the New York Giants. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:05 pm at State Farm Stadium.

9/23-9/24: The Annual Sedona Winefest is back for the 14th year. Tickets are available for $35 in advance and $45 at the door. This event includes wine, music and delicious food all in beautiful Sedona.
