Signs of Spring

Arizona Wildflowers

If you’re like me, the change of seasons is pretty exciting. The change from winter to spring is the most exciting change in seasons for me. Flowers are in bloom, temps warm up, the days are longer and there’s a real desire to get out and explore.

Take time to plan for some spring fun now and when the season arrives, you’ll be ready to go! Check out a suggestions for spring adventures.

  • Go camping! Do you have a favorite camping spot? Are you interested in visiting a new spot in the west? Make a reservation at one of Arizona’s State Parks. Prices are reasonable and you have the option to bring your tent, camper or at some locations stay in a cabin. Book early, so that you get the spot that you’d like.

  • Attend a spring training game - Spring training is happening now through March 26, 2024 in the desert. Check out the schedule for the Cactus League.

  • Take a tour - Head to Scottsdale, Arizona to visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin’s West. This is a must for those that love architecture and history. This location is on the National Historic Landmark list. Reservations must be made in advance.

  • Dine al fresco - Pick up food from your favorite local restaurant and have a picnic outdoors. This is perfect for catching an amazing sunset.

  • Plan out an Arizona road trip - Make a list of Arizona locations that you are ready to visit for the first time (or include a favorite stop or two). Map out the best route for the time frame that you have to work with. You’d be surprised with all that you can see over a 3 day getaway. A few recommendations would be the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Saguaro National Park .

Make some time for fun and enjoy the weather in the desert before it really heats up! Mark your calendars for the 19th of March, the 1st day of spring and get ready for some fun! Leave a note in the comments with your plans for the season.
