Save the Date - January 2024
Let’s kick off the year with having some fun in the desert! Check out events that are happening throughout State 48 during the month of January.
1/5: Show small businesses some love on Friday, January 5th for First Friday. Many cities throughout the state have special events to promote small businesses. Take a look at Downtown Phoenix, Downtown Yuma and wherever you’ll be on the first Friday of the month.
1/6: The Yuma Medjool Date Festival will be held from 10 am - 9 pm on Saturday, January 6th on Main Street. The event will have Medjool date vendors, live music and chef demonstrations. Admission is free and is for those of all ages!
1/12-1/13: Art in the Park returns to Gateway Park in Yuma. The outdoor art festival will be open from 10 am - 5 pm during the 2 day event. Admission is $1 per day per person over the age of 12. All others are are free.
1/19: Head to the ski slopes on Fridays from January 19th - February 23rd. During the hours of 2-5 pm, Arizona Snowbowl is offering $20 lift tickets and $20 rentals for skis and snowboards. This is a great opportunity to get extra time on the slopes for a great price.
1/20: Are you ready for a culinary event?!? Head to the Tucson Botanical Gardens for the Savor Food and Wine Festival. This 21 and older event has limited tickets available and will run from noon - 3 pm. This foodie festival will feature food from over 50 of the best restaurants, chefs, breweries and wineries fro the region. Tickets are $115.
1/21-1/29: Are you into car shows? Check out the Barrett-Jackson Auction at Westworld of Scottsdale. No need to bid, many attend to view the large array of vehicles.
1/27: The Tucson Gem Show is planned for January 27th - February 11th. This gem, fossil and mineral showcase is world renowned and expects over 65,000 attendees each year. The show is spread out over 40 locations. Click here for additional information.
