A Winter Getaway - Scottsdale, Arizona
We can all appreciate a weekend away. It’s a great way to reset and if you ask me, just the way to fill your cup. Scottsdale, Arizona is a popular destination all year round, but serves as a sunny destination for many travelers.
Take a peak at my list of things to do during your next visit to Scottsdale.
Where to Stay
Boulders Resort & Spa - This resort is located in north Scottsdale, so you can count on getting away from it all at this resort. The Boulders has been named as the “Best Hotel in Arizona” by Travel + Leisure and is a grea getaway to hit the links during your stay. Definitely plan on spending time at the pool during your stay.
Canopy by Hilton - This location works well for staying in Old Town Scottsdale. The hotel has a rooftop bar and pool and is in walking distance to many delicious restaurants.
Hotel Adeline - This Tribute Portfolio property by Marriott is located on Scottsdale Road, just a mile north of Scottsdale Road. The hotel has a heated pool, bikes, a speakeasy and a restaurant. I really like the central location of the hotel.
Where to Eat
Farm & Craft - This restaurant is a great spot for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend ordering a bowl and customizing it to fit your foodie cravings.
Mastro’s Ocean Club - An elevated dining experience that has exceptional service and food. This is just the place to go to for a delicious steak dinner.
Sugar Bowl - Your sweet tooth is calling and make time to stop in for a scoop of ice cream at Sugar Bowl., which opened its doors in 1958. You’ll love the old school vibe and the delicious sweets during your visit.
What to Do
Golf - Scottsdale has golf courses for all ability levels. You can hit the links at TPC Scottsdale or take the whole family to Top Golf or PopStroke.
Hit the trails! There are several trails to choose from in the area, but the Gateway Loop is a good fit for many. It is a 4.4 mile loop that is fairly flat. The trail is located in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Count on enjoying the desert scenery.
Do a little shopping! There are several boutiques located in Scottsdale that have unique finds. If you are looking for a mall to that has just what you need, head to Scottsdale Fashion Square. They have everything from an Anthropologie to Nordstrom.
